This is hmg-coa reductase inhibitor (also known as "statin") used to reduce the cholesterol and triglyceride level on your blood. This can be also used to treat other conditions defined by your doctor.

Before using

Some medical conditions can interact with this medicine. Report your doctor or pharmacist of the whole prescription and nonprescription medicine, which you take. Do not take this medicine if you also take fibrates such as, gemfibrozil, clofibrate, or fenofibrate; or high-dose niacin (1 gram or more for day).

Using this medicine is not recommended if you have a history of the liver disease or emergency liver functional result of the test. The medical conditions, including low blood pressure; the serious infection; the uncontrolled fits; or serious metabolic, endocrine, or problems of the electrolyte can enlarge risk of side effect, which can end in kidney problem when taking this medicine. Directions

Follow the instructions provided by your doctor. This medicine can be taken on empty stomach or with food. Try to take this medicine at the same time each day. Keep this medicine in the temperature of the room in 77 degrees f (25 degrees c), away from heat, moisture, and light. You can keep the drug between 59 and 86°F (15 and 30°C) for short period. If you miss the dose of this medicine have it when you remember. If you miss the dose, take it after remembering. If it is nearly time for your following dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions

Follow dietetic plan provided by your doctor. Keep whole doctor and laboratory prescriptions while you use this medicine. Before having any type of surgery, report your doctor that you take this medicine. Before you will begin to take any new medicine, prescription or nonprescription, check with your doctor or pharmacist. For women: do not use this medicine if you are pregnant. If you suspect that you could be pregnant, address to your doctor immediately. This medicine passes in milk. Do not breast-feed when taking this medicine.

Possible effects

Possible Side effects that can occur while taking this medicine include dizzinesses or like influenza. If they are continued or bothersome, talk with your doctor. Check with your doctor at once if you feel the pain muscle, tenderness, or weakness, particularly if you have fever and general feeling inconvenience; the rash; skin or eye yellowing; the unusual bleeding or bruising; or wound throat.

Contact your doctor immediately if you feel the following side effects or toxicity: tumor of the hands, lips, eye, blazed, or language; the swallowing or breathings difficulties; or hoarseness. If you note other effects not specified above, address to your doctor, or pharmacist.

If You take too much

If you suspect that you have taken too much, call your medical centre immediately.

Additional information

This medicine must be used together with exercise, low-cholesterol/low-fat diet, and program of the loss of the weight if you are overweight. Follow dietetic plan provided by your doctor. Ask your doctor if you have any questions.

Do not share this medicine with others for whom it may not be prescribed. Do not use this medicine for the other conditions of health. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
