Before using

Warning: tamoxifen seldom can cause serious side effects (possible fatal) including the cancer of the womb (endometrial cancer and uterine), as well as and blood vessels thickening (pulmonary embolism). Report your doctor immediately if you have: sudden vaginal bleeding, irregular or unusual menstrual periods, pain or pressures of the groin, chest pain, breathing problem, weakness. If you take this medicine for preventions breast cancer (because of increased risk of blood clots developing) you should discuss with your doctor any risk and advantage. However if you take tamoxifen for treating breast cancer, proved advantage is more clear, than side effect. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details. Do not take this medicine if you also take letrozole. Additional check of your dose or condition can be necessary if you take fluorouracil, mitomycin or rifampin. Report your doctor about any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feedings. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or anxiety about taking this medicine.

Follow this medicine instructions provided by your doctor. This medicine can come with patient information leaflet. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions, which you may have about this medicine. This medicine can be taken on empty stomach or with food. Keep this medicine in the room temperature in tightly-locked container, from heat and light away. If you miss the dose of this medicine, take this when remember. If it is nearly time for your following dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
