Before using

Do not take this medicine if you also take gemfibrozil, HIV protease inhibitors (such as, ritonavir, lopinavir, or nelfinavir), azole (such as, itraconazole or ketoconazole), macrolide antibiotics (such as, erythromycin, clarithromycin, or troleandomycin), or nefazodone. If you currently take any medicine, report your doctor or pharmacist before start to take this medicine. Additional check of your dose or condition can be necessary if you take amiodarone, "the blood thinners" such as, warfarin, bosentan, cyclosporine, diltiazem, fluconazole, imatinib, high doses niacin, fibrates (such as, clofibrate or fenofibrate), verapamil, dalfopristin, quinupristin, voriconazole, or cl. John wort. Do not start or stop any medicine without approval of the doctor or pharmacist. Report your doctor about any other medical conditions, including problems of the muscle, alcohol use, allergies (particularly to other "statins"), pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Use this medicine is not recommended if you have a history of liver disease or emergency liver functional result of the test. Determined medical conditions, including low blood pressure; the serious infection; the uncontrolled fits; or serious metabolic, endocrine, or problems of the electrolyte can enlarge your risk of side effect, which can end in the kidney problem while taking this medicine. Contact your doctor if you have one of these conditions. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or anxiety about taking this medicine.

Directions

Follow the medicine instructions provided by your doctor. If you take 1 dose daily, take this with your evening meal unless your doctor prescribes you anything else. The Dosage is founded on your medical condition, answer to therapy, and use of determined interacting medicine. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist for more details. Do not drink grapefruit or juice of grapefruit when you take this medicine.

Store this medicine in the temperature of the room, from heat and light away. If you miss the dose this medicine, take this when you remember. If it is nearly time for your following dose, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Cautions

Do not take this medicine if you had allergic reaction to this drug or allergy to any component in this product. Laboratory and/or medical tests, including liver functional tests and blood cholesterol level, can be executed to check your progress or to test for side effect presence. Follow whole doctor and laboratory prescriptions while you use this medicine. Before, having any type of surgery, report your doctor that you take this medicine. Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while you take this medicine, this can enlarge the amount of this medicine on your blood, which can enlarge risk of serious side effect. Talk with your doctor before including grapefruit or juice of the grapefruit on your diet when you take this medicine.
