Inform your doctor about any other medical conditions including fits, brain or nervous system disturbances, kidney disease, problems of the tendon, liver disease, blood problems ship, allergies (the allergy medicine particularly), pregnancy, or breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or anxiety about this medicine usage. To use this medicine for children or teenagers under age 18 is not recommended. Discuss with your doctor risk and advantage of treating your child with this medicine.

Directions

Follow this medicine instructions provided by your doctor. This medicine comes with patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions, which you may have about this medicine. This medicine can be accepted on empty stomach or with food.

Drink full glass of water with each dose. Drink several additional glasses of water daily if otherwise it is not directed by your doctor. Do not take any products, containing magnesium, aluminum, or calcium within 6 hours before or 2 soon after taking this medicine. Some examples include quinapril, didanosine, vitamins/minerals, and antacids. Sucralfate, Bismuth subsalicylate, iron, and zinc are also enclosed. These products link with ciprofloxacin preventing full absorption. Avoid taking this medicine with or without milk products (such as, yogurt or enriched calcium juice). However, to use this medicine as a part of full meal, which contains the milk or milk products is allowed. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions how to take this medicine correctly.

Store this medicine in the temperature of the room below 86 degrees f (30 degrees c), in tightly-locked container, away from heat, moisture, and light. The Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept on constant level. Consequently, take this medicine at the same time each day.

To remove your infection completely, continue to take this medicine for full course of the processing even though you begin to feel better through several days. Do not miss any dose. If you miss the dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If this is nearly time for your following dose, miss the missed dose and return to your regular dosing timetable. Do not take 2 doses in once.

Cautions

Do not take this medicine if you had a serious allergic reaction on this medicine or other fluoroquinolone antibiotic (such as, levofloxacin, ofloxacin). The serious reactions include the serious rash, breathing difficulty, or dizziness. If you have a question about you allergic reaction on this medicine or if determined medicine is fluoroquinolone, contact your doctor or pharmacist. If this medicine causes the rash of the skin, hive, or breathing difficulties, disscuss this problem with your doctor before taking another dose.

Follow the doctor and laboratory prescriptions while using this medicine. This medicine can cause the dizziness. Take only this medicine, or with other medicine, or with alcohol can reduce your ability to control or to perform potentially dangerous tasks. This medicine can increase sensitivity to sun. Avoid open sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths while you are taking this medicine. Use sun-protective cream or defensive cloth if you are outside for prolonged period.

Avoid caffeine-contented food and drink such as, coffee, tea, cacao, drink stakes, and chocolate, while taking this medicine as effects of caffeine can be increased. This medicine can seldom cause the pain, inflammation, or breakup of the tendon. If you feel any one of these problems contact your doctor immediately. Avoid exercises while you do not get further instructions from you doctor.

Before you begin to take any new medicine, or prescription or non-prescribed, talk with your doctor or pharmacist. When you use this medicine for children do it with cautiousness. Contact your doctor for more details. Use this medicine with cautiousness if it is possibly that you are more sensitive to side effect of this medicine (eg. problems of the tendon, particularly if they also take corticosteroid medicine such as, prednisone).

If you plan on becoming pregnant, discuss with your doctor the advantage and risk of using this medicine during pregnancy. This medicine can influence on breast milk. Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine. If you have diabetes, this medicine can influence upon sugar level in your blood. Check blood sugar level and ask your doctor before defining the dose of your diabetes medicine.
